Avatar Tools Re-Introduces the FROG Low Cost Single Axis CNC Controller

Avatar Consultants, Inc., doing business as Avatar Tools, has purchased the product rights to the Frog Single Axis CNC Controller from Micro Logic Corporation and has started manufacturing and shipping the Frog to customers.

July 16, 2004 -- The Frog is a low cost, hand held single axis CNC controller for small lathes (such as Taig, Sherline, etc), mills, and rotary tables. It is an intelligent power feed that can be programmed to cut threads without any change gears or it can perform repetitive operations on the lathe, mill, or rotary table with extreme precision. The Frog reduces operator fatigue, increases productivity and reduces junked parts.

With the Frog, metric dimensions can be specified on an inch machine and vice versa. One Frog controls a single axis of the machine, and two may be connected together and their operation synchronized to control two axis.
