eBITS Corporation Wins the 8a STARS GWAC

8a STARS award to eBITS

(June 24, 2004 -- eBITS Corporation, an 8(a) information technology solution provider, has been awarded the General Services Administrations Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) contract in the following functional areas, based on eBITS past performance and pricing in these areas

FA1 - 541511, Customer Computer Programming Services;
FA2 - 541512, Computer Systems Design Services;
FA3 - 541513, Computer Facilities Management Services;
FA4 - 518210, Data Processing, Hosting and Related Services; and,
FA5 - 541519, Other Computer Related Services

The STARS GWAC was a fully competed multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a $15 billion program ceiling. Tasks under this contract can be awarded to eBITS without competition if certain conditions are met. The base period of the contract award is for three years with two additional option periods of two years each. Federal Agencies utilizing this contract will also receive the procurement preference credit for 8(a).
